Voluntary Code of Conduct: Generative AI

Generative AI is transforming how ideas become reality. At CommandAlpha_Studios, we embrace this potential while taking a clear, accountable approach to its use. This Code of Conduct defines how we apply AI responsibly—ensuring it’s transparent, safe, and always aligned with our clients’ best interests.

1. Purpose

CommandAlpha_Studios adopts this Voluntary Code of Conduct to ensure that our use of Generative AI is responsible, transparent, and aligned with our ethical values. This Code reflects our commitment to protecting individuals, promoting fairness, and maintaining trust while leveraging Generative AI to deliver creative, strategic, and operational solutions for our clients.

2. Scope

This Code applies to:
  • All Generative AI tools and systems we develop, configure, or use.
  • All projects, client engagements, and internal workflows involving Generative AI.
  • All employees, contractors, and partners acting on behalf of CommandAlpha_Studios.

3. Guiding Principles

a. Transparency
Clearly disclose when content is AI-generated or AI-assisted in client deliverables.
Inform clients of the AI tools used in their projects and the role AI plays in outcomes.
b. Safety and Risk Management
Conduct risk assessments before deploying Generative AI for new use cases.
Avoid AI outputs that could cause harm, spread misinformation, or perpetuate bias.
c. Fairness and Bias Mitigation
Use AI tools that have undergone ethical vetting for bias and fairness.
Actively review and, where necessary, correct AI outputs to avoid discriminatory or prejudiced results.
d. Human Oversight and Accountability
Maintain human review for all AI-assisted work delivered to clients.
Ensure that final responsibility for outputs rests with qualified human experts, not automated systems.
e. Privacy and Data Protection
Do not use personally identifiable or confidential client data in AI systems without explicit consent.
Anonymize or aggregate any data used for training, fine-tuning, or testing AI systems.
f. Security
Protect AI systems and data from unauthorized access, tampering, or misuse.
Apply the same security controls to AI-related workflows as we do to all client and internal data.

4. Responsible Development and Procurement

  • Work only with AI vendors who commit to ethical and lawful AI practices.
  • Ensure AI models and APIs we use comply with applicable privacy, copyright, and intellectual property laws.
  • Evaluate AI providers’ transparency, explainability, and documented limitations before adoption.

5. Client Collaboration and Consent

  • Engage clients in open discussions about AI use, benefits, risks, and limitations.
  • Obtain informed consent before integrating AI into a client’s project or content pipeline.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about new AI regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing training for our team to understand both the capabilities and the risks of Generative AI.
  • Review and update this Code annually or when significant changes occur in AI regulation or practice.

7. Governance

  • The AI Ethics Lead at CommandAlpha_Studios oversees compliance with this Code.
  • All team members must report concerns, risks, or violations related to AI use to the AI Ethics Lead immediately.
